Momento Bohème Slip Dress PRE-AUTHORIZE

A beautiful reminder to seize the day— to be fully, tenderly, alive in this very moment. Momento is our reimagining of the traditional memento mori — a phrase once used to remind us of life’s impermanence. Instead of dwelling on what fades, this piece turns its gaze toward what endures: love, truth, wonder… the beauty of the life we're living right now. At the heart of our design are two starlings, silhouetted against a luminous full moon — companions in flight, moving together through the dark. Gathered around them are time-honoured symbols: a skull softened by flowers, luna moths and butterflies mid-transformation, sheaves of wheat, snakes winding between roses, and sparrows nestled among the branches. Beneath it all, a banner reads Memento Vivere: remember to live. The layered artwork in this collection is a collage of original illustrations by celebrated artist Jessica Roux, whose hand brings warmth and gentleness to everything she creates. In her world, each element becomes a little talisman — a reminder of cycles, change, and the fragile, luminous beauty of being alive. Created as a piece for those who find meaning in moonlight, in wings, in wildflowers pressed between pages, Momento is a reminder to savour what is fleeting, to hold what matters close — and to live boldly and joyfully while we can.

The adjustable straps, oversized cut, and soft, flowy bamboo viscose make our Bohéme dresses a wardrobe staple for layering, running errands, dancing, lounging or napping — and they’re also a must-have for travel, wherever you roam. You can also wear this piece two ways, with the luna moth or the moon & swallows either on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.

Please note: The nature of our soft bamboo/wood viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so we recommend layering it with our Étoile slip (or any other slip you have) when wearing it with bare legs. Our model in the photos is wearing the dress without a slip. Shown worn with our Momento Opera Duster (sold separately).

100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as bamboo and wood). Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry. Iron to finish if needed.

We take all our measurements on a garment lying flat. Approximate measurements w/ Adjustable Straps: S/M — length 132cm at shortest strap adjustment, 142cm at longest. Width 52cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 54cm (across waist seam). L/XL — 134 cm length at shortest strap adjustment, 144cm at longest. Width 57cm (across bust, underarm to underarm), 59 cm (across waist seam). Model is 5'3" for reference.
